Eg. He tossed and turned all night thinking about the big turnip.
My example: I tossed and turned in bed after I knew that I hadn't pass the national examination about 3 years ago.
Kid of English-test's answer : After having learned that I had failed the National Examination, I tossed and turned in my bed all night.

Hi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteI just visited your Blog. Really very Nice.
As you said that you are a computer engineer. Are you just promoting your website (english-test.net) through this Blog or actually help others to learn English? I can understand how busy you are but still I hope to hear from you soon.
Best Wishes,
Shambhavi
Hi, Shambhavi
ReplyDeleteWell, actually I am not eager to promote the website "English-test.net", and it's really a great website that I've been seen. I don't know if I really have helped others to learn English, and I just share some experiences for English learners and exchange some ideas to improve our English, such as some great websites. Finally, I would say that we still need to learn English oursleves. Nobody can help us. Only we can help ourselves.
Speak to you soon.
Maggie^^
Hi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteYour sentence is good, but there is a problem with the verb tense with "pass." Because you are using past tense with "tossed and turned" and "hadn't" it should be "passed" instead.

Good morning, Kalsow
ReplyDeleteThanks! I got it.
Maggie^^
Hi E Kalsow,
ReplyDeleteI remind of you that you're a native speaker, aren't you?
I would like to ask you a question. Do you think it's worth to study abroad in USA? Why or why not?
Thanks in advance.
Maggie^^
Hi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteI really am not sure about studying abroad. I think you could learn a lot about people, and it could be more of a life lesson than a school lesson. I know I lived in Germany when I was little and I would not trade that experience for the world. It was hard leaving friends but I made such good friends there too. I guess it depends on what you want to learn by studying in the USA.
Smile :)

p.s. I think its cool that you are going to eat turkey too!
