He was suddenly standing along side me and said"let me help you with that". I didn't even know he had come in the room. He didn't even ask. He saw I was in trouble and he helped. How to Overcome Procrastination:
Whatever the reason behind procrastination, it must be recognized, dealt with and controlled before you miss opportunities or your career is derailed.
Step 1: Recognize that you're Procrastinating
If you're honest with yourself, you probably know when you're procrastinating.
But to be sure, you first need to make sure you know your priorities. Putting off an unimportant task isn't procrastination, it's probably good prioritization. Use the Action Priority Matrix to identify your priorities, and then work from a Prioritized To Do List on a daily basis.
Some useful indicators which will help you pull yourself up as soon as you start procrastinating include:'


Filling your day with low priority tasks from your To Do List.
Reading an e-mail or request that you've noted in your notebook or on your To Do List more than once, without starting work on it or deciding when you're going to start work on it.
Sitting down to start a high-priority task, and almost immediately going off to make a cup of coffee or check your e-mails.
Leaving an item on your To Do list for a long time, even though you know it's important.
Regularly saying "Yes" to unimportant tasks that others ask you to do, and filling your time with these instead of getting on with the important tasks already on your list.
Step 2: Work out WHY You're Procrastinating

Bargain with landloard

In recent days, I'm going to rent a suite. It's not easy to find out a suite which I'm satisfied with the price and the qulity of the suite. I think I need to be patient to search it but I also think the suite I like would be rent by the two girls who visited them almost the same time as me if I consider it too long. Sometimes it would be one or two days only, and therefore I don't have chance to rent the suite I want.

Last night, I see a room which is not large but they hire a security guard. So I think it's safer than other rooms which I've seen although it's really very expansive. So I ask the landlord the reduce the price. However, when I went to see the rooms, two girls went to see it after me. They promised that they would give the landlord a promise this night that they would rent the rooms or not. Moreover, they would rent two suite at the same time or they won't rent them at the same time as well. So the landlord would like to rent to them more, then she doesn't need to find out someone to see the suites.

Of course, when I asked the suite, I bargianed with the landlord which is a civil servant and works for around 30 years for our goverment. Actually, I only bargined for around one thousand dollors. It's not much but I still want to bargain. I think if I didn't bargain, then I would lose my right. And I should pay more every month.

Five minutes ago, she told me she agreed with the bargian anyway because she couldn't get in touch with the two girls. Thanksfully, I got it. What I want to say is that sometimes we need to more patients to do everything. We don't need to worry too much. In this situation, if the two girls wanted to rent the two suites, then I would loose the chance to rent the suite. However, it doesn't matter. I simply have to find out another rooms. I really don't need to worry that I won't rent the suite. Nothing has to do with it. I mean sometimes we need to make some decisions and we may not have chance to choose. We only can see what the things go, and we make a best decision base on our capabilites.


By the way, I think we can bargain any products, rooms for Taiwanese etc. But I don't think we also can bargain them in other coutries. So it depends on the coutries, people indeed.

Exam Yuan revising English test for civil servants

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Members of the Examination Yuan promised to consider President Ma Ying-jeou's suggestion of increasing the portion of English-language test when recruiting public servants in the future.

The president made the proposal at a luncheon he hosted for new members of the Examination Yuan at the Taipei Guesthouse yesterday.

In addition to encouraging the members to carry out bold reforms to upgrade the ethics standards of the government employees, Ma said it is equally important to strengthen the capability and competitiveness of the public servants.

Ma noted that he already took actions to improve the general standards and the capability of commanding English, the most popular international language, when he served as mayor of Taipei.

Some members of the Examination Yuan said there are currently English test included into certain test subjects for candidates aspiring to work for government agencies.

The issue concerning whether to further increase the portion of the English test and make it a mandatory test for all candidates requires further study.

Passing the qualifications tests to join government agencies has long been the toughest examination of all tests in Taiwan.

Tens of thousands of people take the exams held every year by the Examination Yuan in order to get what they conceive as the most ideal careers because they will face almost no risk of being laid off and are guaranteed for life-long pension after retirement.

Ma also mentioned that there should be separate criteria for evaluating the professors at higher learning institutions and the general public servants.

The president said many of the top-notch professors in Taiwan were hired away by institutions in China, Hong Kong, and other areas in recent years.

He suggested that the Examination Yuan work out new measures to cope with the issue to keep the talent.

The members said they plan to discuss the various issues brought up by Ma when holding their first plenary meeting today.

They will also solicit the opinions from the government employees and people in other sectors before adopting concrete steps.

There are still a large number of job seekers in Taiwan finding it frightening and extremely difficult for them to cope with job interviews in English, although they have earned bachelor's or master's degrees from universities.

International English proficiency evaluation organizations placed Taiwan among the bottom four on a list detailing Asian countries and their English proficiency among workers in 2006.

In 2007, Taiwan slipped further to the bottom three, ranking only higher than Japan and Saudi Arabia, in the Asian region.

Fill out the wish of public servant

I would say I got much pressure in filling out the wish of public servant. I'm worrying about my future job. Probably, I think too much. Yesterday, I went to some departments which I'll apply probably. After I listened to what the directors who are the boss of the departmetns, I fear it because I'm not sure if I can handle it well. I like to do things well, but it depends on the things. Some things I can well, but some I can't.

Also, I'm worry about how to get along with the colleagues indeed. Before I went to a department, I'll call for personal department first, but some of them were not passionate. One of them didn't lead me to find out the department which I may apply. She said some reasons which it's hard to believe for me. Fortunately, I found out the directors by asking someone. However, the feelings is extremely weird. I'll think probably something happened to the two departments, the personal department and the informaton department which I want to apply.

I am a person who easily gets pressure than most of the people. I know myself well indeed. What I need to do is to take easy I think. I hope that I can do it well in the near future. I've to learn much things really.

But it's really hard to fill out the wish that which information departments I'd like to go. Anyway, I should be happy to be a public servant.

I've prepared the National Examination for a couple of years. Finally, I got the job I want, although I can't believe it so far. I thought I wouldn't have the chance to get it this year at first after finishing the examination.


I'm going to prepare another one indeed. However, I think I won't have much time to prepare. Anyway, just do my best and never give up. Then my dream will come true one day.

Moreover, one net friend said that learning how to get a great mark when testing and learning how to get along with your colleagues after entering the governmental units are sincere ideas. I'll try to learn it as soon as possible.
