consecutive: one after another without an interruption
This is the fifth consecutive day that I've worked overtime, and I'm a bit fed up with it.

"days" should be "day"
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why.
Hi, Kalsow
ReplyDeleteYour intuition is totally correct. I search google, and I think it should be "the fifth consecutive day". Thanks for helping me.
Actually, I forget wheather you're native speaker or not. But Are you native speaker? How come your English is so good. It's likely English is your mother language.
Happy New Year.
Maggie^^
Hi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteYes I am a native speaker of English, although I have actually learned a lot of English grammar and vocabulary from reading your blog. You make me think about the words I am using and why they are there.
I am also in the process of learning German, so I know what it feels like to try and learn another language.
I hope you have an awesome week!

Hi, Kalsow
ReplyDeleteThanks for replying me again!!
I'm wondering how come you want to learn German. Are you going to work there or you are just interested in that language. Moreover, you live in U.S., am I right? If yes, which state do you live? Or where do you live?
Speak from you soon.
Maggie^^
