I've worked for three years.
I usually make mistakes in this sentence. So I want to list it on my blog to remind myself.

Hi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteI am kind of confused with what your sentence means. Could you tell me a little more about it?
-Kalsow :)
Oh! Sorry! Kalsow.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that what I'm talking is unclear for most people to understand. Originally, I just want to practice to write a sentence of "I've been worked for three years.". That's because I found that when people asked me of "How long have you worked?". I answered "It's around three years." I think most people can understand my meaning, but it's not a good sentence. I should say "I've worked for three years". It's more correct. Am I right? So that's why I list the sentence on my blog. Then I can remind of myself to say the more correct sentence.
Thanks for telling what you think. Plus, recently, I moved to another public department. So I've been busy for learning something new from new coworkers and new department. Hopefully, I'll do everything well.
And what about you? What's going on? Could you share something with me as well from time to time?
Speak to you soon.
Maggie^^
Maggie-
ReplyDeleteI love reading what you write. It really cheers me up. I do understand now why you have that sentence but you might want to take out the "been" like you have in your comment. That will make the sentence more clear.
I also understand being busy. School for me is a lot of work right now. There are days when I can only sleep for 4 hours because I have so much homework to do.
Right now we just started a new quarter at school so I have Music Theory, History, Theory of Knowledge, and German. I am also in track and show choir after school which can take up a lot of time.
How do you like your new department?
What do you work on?
What else is going on in your life?
Oh yes. One thing I thought you might find interesting. Today I walked around barefoot at school to help spread awareness about people who don't have shoes. Here is a link about it.
Smile (it always makes me feel better)
Kalsow :)
Hi, Kalsow
ReplyDeleteI've been working for around two weeks in new department. So far, I think my boss is quit great although everyone is busy and that means I'll be BUSY as well in the near future. My new coworkers treat me friendly and I think I also can get along with them very well.
At this moment, my boss doesn't assign me some tasks to do and that probably because I'll go to a trainig department next month for one month soon. She may think I'll forget most of things the elder workers teach me. So my boss may prefer to ask others to teach me after I come back from the training department.
Another interesting thing is that I move to my new room which I rent. The room is not cheap but it's big enough for me to stay and I can cook food in the room. I feel very very happy to cook for myself. I want to buy a refrigerator because the refrigerator my landload give me is too small and some food can not preserved well, too.
Well, there are many things to share with me. But time flies. I need to have lunch now. Speak to you next time.
Maggie^^

I don't design any programs. I only test software and device such as application, web application...Do you know about QA(Quality assurance)or QC(Quality Control) or tester? I'm one of them. You can call me with Tester.
About plan to improve English, I'm joining in "www.english-test.net"website and get English lesson for beginner. I had to learn everything by myself. Studying new words is difficult with me due to my poor memory. I'm very sad about this problem.
