cactus

In the fall a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of … cactus?
For Carl and Idalee Bausewein's wholesale business, Punctured Thumb Inc., this plant attraction helps make autumn the busy season. From their greenhouse outside Huntingtown in Calvert County, the Bauseweins supply tropical and desert plants to nurseries and florists throughout the greater Washington-Baltimore area and on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Many of those plants are destined to decorate dormitory rooms, especially for male students.
