Write a few paragraphs about the best travel experience you have had. Try to describe why you liked it and don’t forget to change the subjects of the sentences to make it more unique.
The best travel experience I have had is Vancouver, Canada. It is a place that has a slow place that people are kind and not in a hurry. I have been to a few countries, but it impressed me because I probably stayed there longer, so that I got to know it more. I knew many classmates because I went there for learning English and I stayed in an English institute. My classmates and I went to travel together on the weekend.
First, for safety, I paid for the picking fee for asking someone to take care of me and to take me to my host family where I would stay for one month. It was the first time I saw snow. I was surprised and felt very happy to touch snow that I hadn’t seen before.
Second, I stayed there for one month, so I got a lot of time to get together with my classmates, compared with staying for ten days in California. My classmates who are from different countries, such as Korea, Japan and Italy went with me to visit China town. We chatted a lot and shared different cultures. The time was peaceful and the classmates have always been friendly.
Third, the host daughter took me to a night club. I got drunk because I drank too fast. I couldn’t stand up by myself. The event scared me actually, but I still had fun. I like to dance and I danced there a lot.

Finally, the institute, Intrax, arranges a lot of English courses for students. My English really has improved a lot. Especially, I liked the pronunciation class where the teacher would correct everyone’s pronunciation carefully. Anyway, it was the first time I went to another country and I took a plane by myself. I hadn’t taken an international airplane before. Everything interested me indeed. I really had a great time at that moment.
Note:
1. My English really has improved a lot.(correct)
My English really has been improved a lot.(incorrect)
   Why?
2. chat chatted chatted
3. drink drank drunk
4. I couldn’t stand up by myself.
I couldn’t stand up myself.
What is the difference between by myself and myself for the 2 sentences below.
5. Everything interested me indeed.
6. Is "get to know someone/something" a phrase verb?

Hi dear buddy .
ReplyDeletenice to see you again at here
i have correct it.which you have mention the above
1) It is incorrect, because the correct way of saying it would be "my english really has been improving a lot".
2) Chat: do you want to have a chat. or I chatted to someone.
3) Today i will drink water.
Yesterday i drank alot of water.
I already have drunk this water.
4) The first one is correct. Its correct because it just is, its just one of those rules, that i dont really know. It just sounds correct. Maybe someone else can explain the reason why.
5) SOunds correct, or everything was very interesting indeed.
6) A verb is a doing word, or action word, so when you "get to know someone./something" then your doing something arent you, your getting to know someone/.something, your doing an action, which is a verb, and its a phrase aswell, so i guess its a phrase verb, yes.
Hope thats helpful. thanks.
